I turned 40 in August. Something I was very happy about. I’ve felt over 40 for many years. Partly because of my job and owning the business but partly due to the family too. I have no problems growing older because each year I feel more confident in my own skin and I’m having more fun too.
For my birthday I wanted to take my kids to a theme park – they have been to a few and are now big enough to go on everything. The last time I went to this specific theme park was on my 18th birthday and I acted like a great big kid then so I thought why not again?!
Luckily I was also joined by my sister who I rarely see as she lives in Oz. We had a fantastic day and went on everything (I was absolutely knackered and fell asleep in the car on my way to my parents afterwards!)
The only time I was naughty on my birthday was on the Carousel! Here are a selection of images, trying to capture the moment.

I’m Alabaster White so it does glow a bit! And I have to be careful in the sun!

but both my kids are very pale (strawberry blonde and a platinum blonde – so I am very strict about sunblock!) But there is a radiance about your skin that made you glow from the inside out!
