Recently we stayed in a city centre apartment in Amsterdam It was a beautiful place with a mezzanine floor with twin beds where my kids slept, and a bedroom next to the kitchen with a double bed in where we slept. Between the bedroom and the kitchen there was this large glass bricked window. Helping to bring light into an otherwise dark bedroom. I couldn’t help but try and use it in a photograph.

The glass bricks distorts the image slightly but you can see the naked chest and belly.](https://focusedandfilthy.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/89a0288b-9c46-4ab7-88f4-334c38a8cb7b-1024x1024.jpg)

Such a clever and beautiful shot. Love it.
If there’s something like that in your room then why not try to get a photo and this is a great shot.
I love this, it has a Mondrian feel to it but a portrait rather than landscape.
I love how the light makes the ripples in the glass almost look like ripples of water on your skin
