For a prompt week previously we were asked for an image that contained a camera. I was very pleased with the image I took and decided to share (which you can see here) but I took a few others I liked too. This week I’ve got a course booked with a professional photographer. It’s for some one to one teaching. So I thought I’d share one of my other camera images.

I went to my local camera club, did nearly 3 years there and I did share some of my nude images as otherwise what was the point really. I did learn quite a bit but I also became very frustrated with the middle class old white males that dominated the club which really came to a head during the referendum when they openly voiced their terrible raciest opinions. That was when I left.
As for your image, I think it is brilliant, the composition is so good and the lighting is pretty spot on. Do you edit your images after you take them and if so what do you use?

Fingers crossed the old white middle class men can deal with my voice there too. It isn’t a big club so hopefully I can speak out when necessary. I’m not shy in speaking my views.
I have only ever used Snapseed and some images have very little editing some a bit. I’ve also got lightroom app on my phone now and debating that for my laptop. Last week’s images weren’t edited at all other than names. This one a little.

I think you are a natural and seem to have the eye for what makes a good shot. The fact that you don’t edit much makes that even more the case. A camera club sounds exciting and hopefully they will be ready for you t9 share the pictures that you want to. This one is stunning and so clever too ?
