Something new

I’ve wanted a tattoo for years. Finally at the age of 46 I decided I shouldn’t wait any longer. I knew who I wanted to do it and I had enough of an idea about the design to finally book an appointment. I saw them last week. I’m getting past the really sore stage to the itchy peeling crusty stage, so I’m not going to share the whole thing but I wanted to give you a tease.

I already love how it looks and how it makes me feel. Yes it hurt (some of it was fine and some of it made my eyes water and my whole body twitch) but I managed it. I didn’t start off with something small because I knew what I wanted wouldn’t be and so it was “Go big or go home”

I’ll look forward to sharing the rest of it with you when it looks pretty again.
